Can you clear up some rumors I heard about the USMC?

I heard some crazy stuff about the Marine Corps. I heard from one friend, he got out at like week 3 or something of recruit training, he said he dropped out cause the Drill SGT's or Instructors (I'm not sure what there called, I apologize) hit him like punched him in the head a few times, and threw him around the barracks, and a couple nights he said they came in while everyone was sleeping and tossed there bunks while they were still in them. And a lot of recruits got hurt and they just stood there laughing and yelling. I also heard from somebody that at the rifle range during recruit training he missed a target and the D.I grabbed him and threw him on the ground and grabbed his rifle and hit him in the face with it and told him "every time you miss I hit you". I heard some other crazy stuff to,but WAY to much to type and those specific two were the ones that really threw me off. Cause I'm actually thinking about joining. Is this stuff true? Do they really throw you around, hit you, punch you, smack you around, hit you with weapons, etc? IDK The first guy that told me that I was like "yeah right" but when my other friend (these 2 guys don't know each other) told me something vary similar I got a little worried. I mean I want to join the military, I really do and I'm still kind of interested in the Marines, but being tossed of fYour bunk and hit in the face with your weapon? I mean call me a b*tch all you want,I would hate to have that happen to me. Or is this all B.S? Please explain.

Honestly only charge I would of understood was open container but they never tested me for alcohol so how am I intoxicated? I also NEVER got an official ticket from them even when my bond was paid and I got home at 7 am.. I mean I know I shouldn't curse at a cop but I did out of I guess confusion and the way he approached me like I was a drug dealer off gate, is there anything in this case which I could fight? the bonds lady told me I cant be charged for intoxication without being tested

I suggest walking around the house with the husky on the leash, to know where everything is for a bit. The dogs will immediately be alerted by this new dog! Make the dogs sure that he is safe, by kissing his head, and then petting the other dogs. Also, take one dog at a time into one room and let them get used to each other. Let them sniff.... haha. If they start hurting each other, put the shih tzu out of the room and take the other one in. If they are wrestling playfully or just walking away and coming back every once in a bit, perfect! Dad lost his job in the military?

Hi recently my father lost his job in the air force without so much as a warning. Can't catch my horse?

I have a 6 year old Gelding (Welsh section d) He is a pain to catch!! I have had him since August and he has always been like this. For about a month in Feb he came straight to me in the field (I think this was from watching the other horse in his field coming up to me and getting praised with a pat) But he is still in the same field as this horse and I still spend about an hour running round the field to get him! I dont want to use treats as I know this can be dangerous with others in the field but if he is the last one out I will admit I use treats and catch him instantly. I'm a boy and I'm 16 years old. I've alwys liked girls and still do but I've realized I also like boys like almost 2 years ago. I'm bi and I've been quite insecure over my sexuality. Its ben bringin me down and i cry once a day putting myself down about it. Im more sexually and emotionally attracted to boys but i do like both but prob boys a bit more. Im just so like lost and confused and a bit miserable. I just drive myself crazy menwhile everyone around me loves me and i have everything but thinking negative about my sexuality and past bullies put me down and makes me sad. How do you get coffee out of a desktop tower?

Well, my brother got mad at me for calling him stupid so he took my computers tower and tossed it down 3 story stair well at my apartment. But when i plugged it worked. The CD drive fell out and the cover completely fell off. Not to mention there was this like big green circuit board that was hanging out of the case and it was kind of bent out of shape. but then the other day i was using the computer and it caught on fire so i poured coffee on it. Now it has even more damage so how do you get coffee out of a computer? BTW its a $3000 computer i got it last month.

Ok so first off im 14 in 8th grade i have a pretty good lofe. Have plenty of freinds and prety good social life. I love all my family members. Im an okay student in skool. Im in all highest honors classes on brains (im pretty lazy but ill get to th.at later) well i have a twin and we were both pretty popular and last year in skool i had pulled put most of my hair from anxiety and got made fun of and usually stayed as far away as ppl as possible. My brother was more social and gained more polularity. This year my hairs grown nak hes gone to boardin skool. At the beginnin of this year i was still kinda liked but since i was less liked they blamed me for him havin gone away and wished i had gone instead of him. Well i think ive finally gotten bak on track and on everyones side. But i was so focuaed on my social life that my skool work wasnt bein completed. I recently gotten a report card and the grades were bad. Now my parents are hardcore monitorin me and in communication with teachers. I told them that i was lazy and didnt do my hw and thqt i was sorry and was gonna try harder next quarter. Well now i am startin to do my hw buf occasionally i wont do some but its still improvement. But now that im doin my hw its still not good enough for them. We get in figths and i admit i am a bit rude but they just put me down and keep bringin up last quarter ajd sayin im not tryin at all and that im a failure at skool wen im tryin to have a fresh start. Im really tryin and improvivn. Now we get in huge screamin fights everyniht and i usually go to bed cryin even though ive donr my hw. Ive talked very deeply to them and have seen many counselers. I have started takin anti depressents and adhd medicine and feelin a bit better. Any advice? I really just wanf them to stop botherin me and let me handle this on my own but if i do they yell at me

Ideas on what to feed my 1 yr old for lunch?

okay so he is 14 months old. and he has a very very picky 3 year old big brother. he and his brother eat really good for me for breakfast, and he's easy to feed for dinner because he normally eats what we eat. but i normally don't sit down and eat lunch with them, my 3 year old only has certain foods that he will eat for lunch, and i don't want my 1 year old being picky like that. and i don't want to feed him the same things every single day.. so far what i do feed him is things like, halves of ham/ turkey sandwiches, he loves grilled cheeses, chicken nuggets, all sorts of vegetables but so far i am scared to feed him raw veggies as he doesn't have all of his teeth yet, he loves fruit and i try to mix that up, he loves yogurt, but he gets fruit and yogurt some times for breakfast along with his cereal or whatever..... i thought i would ask you guys about what you feed your little ones for lunch every single day? he has also gotten in to this phase where he thinks its funny to toss his food over the side of the highchair and so more is ending up in the floor and then in the trash then is ending up in his tummy.. i just want to try and fix stuff that i know he will love to eat. he's a great eater and i want to continue to build on that, but i am afraid if i feed him what the 3 year old eats all of the time he will also grow to be picky.. thanks..

Why am i so violent when drunk, and sometimes sober?

Since i was about 16 ive been gettin in trouble with the law when pissed up. nothing too serious, abh criminal damage drunk n disorderly etc i thought id grow out of it but im 21 now and nothings changed. I calmed down a bit when i was 18 but then i moved down south for uni when i was 20 and got worse again. I battered some bloke in the same week as moving down there, not a hospital job but a bust nose and a cut eye, then i hit another bloke in a pub, just the once not quite a year ago, then last night i beat up some polish man, wont go into details but he was pretty bad after. dont wanna say where im from in england but like most places its a bit violent, people love scrapping. Ive not had a rough up bringin but have had a fair amount of **** to deal with, ive lost a gf because of the violence (not towards her)and its not my personality, im actually a sensitive person n have never been a bully, never started on a weak man. Is it caused by alcohol or just fueled by it, does it run a bit deeper than just bein a rowdy drunk? There are literally too many incidents to mention, but it ranges from, fightin bouncers, smashin windows, jumpin taxis n just basically bein a ****. its embarassing and im not a kid anymore and need to sort it but im not sure how, im worried i'll go prison if it carries on, pretty sure i will, i'd already be there if old bill knew all the things i've done. I keep appearing in court and they're only gna fine me so many times. anyone got any advice or have maybe been through the same thing? Well first off I am new to this so please bear with me : I am currently engaged to my fiancee which is of 21yrs old, I am 26 yrs old, we have been dating for 3 yrs and more. Ok spectro i go to an ok middle school. Im in 8th in all honors. I have adhd. Ive always been a smart kid, but a.lazy one. I always get the school material. Honestly only charge I would of understood was open container but they never tested me for alcohol so how am I intoxicated? I also NEVER got an official ticket from them even when my bond was paid and I got home at 7 am.. Why does my Stepfather/stepfather's family/ hate me?

Okay, I'm going to start this off by saying that I need some clarification on how to deal with him and his parents, because frankly, this pisses me off. We got in to a fight over how I don't do well in school, and how I refuse to conform in a uniform public school (don't ask me how that works) And tossed my Doc Martens across the house, and yelled at me. and it's always been this way, and when he found out I smoked, he basically looked at me and said "Your a disappointment" And started shunning me all these years. I come home with my nose pierced, he yells and says it's 'not ethical' and that No one would hire me at a job with that piece of metal sticking out of my face (I then later got a call from a music store and had gotten hired, and acted a little smug) And then there's the grandparents, now, don't get me wrong, I love them, but the littlest brother gets all of their attention, they talk to him, and the last time I visited them they said a total of six words to me, then they got mad after I had told them that the milk they had was sour. I try my hardest to be nice to them and to not swear around them, but the last fight I had involved all of them, I said '**** off and stop telling me how to live my life' and I stormed out of the house, then later when I returned, they where talking about me and how I was 'wild'' and that I needed discipline. What the **** is their problem anyways? Me and my fiance have been together for almost 2 years now and we have a son almost a year old. We both had the same job and about 2 months ago he quit and walked out. Chills, feel sick, can't sleep?

so for the last 3 days or so i've had chills, i'll be freezing with 2 blankets on and then an hour later i'll be sweating, i'm not really eating anything but i'm drinking fluids (juice, water). One false move can land you in jail, and society has no sympathy for people who don't fully abide by the law. Adults are expected to figure things out by themselves. I'm terrified of the prospect that I'm going to be tossed into such a brutal "sink-or-swim" world. A world where I could easily wind up homeless, isolated, overwhelmed, and depressed. Me and my father havent had the best history together. we've always gotten along better when we dont live together. but after a really hard divorce(i was in a abusive relationship) i had to move back home with my 2 year old daughter. we lived in a nice 3 bedroom place with room enough for everyone, and a huge yard a dog a cat ect..well like i said me and my dad dont get along. hes the type of father that drinks his beer when he comes home from work(construction worker, 48 years old) and watches the weather channel eats dinner, showers and goes to bed. but sometimes...out of nowhere he'll be a complete jerk without warning. The last night that i lived there i had put my daughter to bed, both of my parents where laying down in bed. and i got on their computer(my bf let me use his internet port cuz my parents didnt have internet wayy out where we lived) and was talking to some friends and doing school work. no big deal right? well my dad came out of his room to go outside for a smoke and saw me and said "hey, what are u doing on the computer?" (ever since i can remember our first computer hes always hated seeing me on it, i recall beeing in the 6th grade and asking to use it for a research paper and he got so mad that he picked up the monitor and threw it in my bedroom. now..back to what i was saying..he asked what i was doing and i said "school work, my bf lent me his internet port so i could do it" and he said "uh no u can do your work in your bedroom, i know you, you get distrated easily" and i said "im not dad, im just doin my school work and then ill get off, i'll only be another 15-20mins max and ill be done" and he said "well why cant you do it in your room?" and i said "its easier to do it this way, its faster" and he said "well i dont want you on MY computer, get off" and i said "i dont see what the problem is, everyones in bed and im doing school work, whats wrong with that?" and he said "idc i dont want you on it. GET OFF" and so i shut my book and tossed it up on the counter, and he easily assumed that i was throwing it even though he was standing 5 feet away and watched me. and said "dont cop an attitude with me" and i said "i just dont see what the big deal is" and at that point my mother came out and said "wth is going on?" then told us both to stop it, i pushed the computer chair back over to the desk (not hard i just put my hand on the back of it, pushed it and it BARELY tapped the desk, my dad looked at me and said "OH YOU WANNA SLAM SH**? LETS GO SLAM SH**!" and walked into my bedroom and tipped over my entertainment stand. and it broke alot of my things. at that point i cried and called my bf to pick me up (my mom offered to watch my daughter) and to get the hell out. and that was about 3 or 4 months ago. i havent talked to my dad since then...is it wrong to not talk to him even though hes a sadist *******? sometimes i feel bad but sometimes ill think of that night and they WAY he said things with such a snarky attitude, you could easily tell he wanted to start sh**. so......am i wrong? was he wrong?.....what should i do?(oh and just to be clear my mother is watching my daughter and i take her everyother weekend (her dad gets her on the other weekends) until me and my bf get a place next month)
