You have to take your paperwork showing the court date is tomorrow and show up in court. Show the paperwork to the bailiff or whoever is there so that the judge is aware of the mix up. You don't really know if the person you talked to was correct about the date. Show up on the date indicated on your paperwork and you'll be okay.
