Why do I attract so many Indian men when I am not Indian?

In real life I seem to attract mostly Indian guys that approach me and I just don't know why. Today at school, I told one of the Indian guys that hit on me and ask me out that I am not Indian if that is what he thought but I am black/italian, and he said "why do you tell me that? and keep bringin it up it is bad" and I just left for next class.. So what is it? Is it some American girl thing instead? Like I heard us Americans girls have a stereotype of being easy?
