Is South Africa poor? What is the poorest?

South Africa is very well off compared to most countries in Africa, but there are still a lot of people in poverty, and yes there are starving kids here. Umm... I don't know any specific towns, but I believe the province of Limpopo and North West are the two least developed and poorest in the country. Are you planning on actually coming to south africa and bringing people food and drinks???? I would recommend you look into a charity, that doesn't seem like a very practical idea. I've heard Zimbabwe is the poorest country in the world in terms of GDP, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they have the most starving children... I don't know about that one.
