Can you clear up some rumors I heard about the USMC?

I heard some crazy stuff about the Marine Corps. I heard from one friend, he got out at like week 3 or something of recruit training, he said he dropped out cause the Drill SGT's or Instructors (I'm not sure what there called, I apologize) hit him like punched him in the head a few times, and threw him around the barracks, and a couple nights he said they came in while everyone was sleeping and tossed there bunks while they were still in them. And a lot of recruits got hurt and they just stood there laughing and yelling. I also heard from somebody that at the rifle range during recruit training he missed a target and the D.I grabbed him and threw him on the ground and grabbed his rifle and hit him in the face with it and told him "every time you miss I hit you". I heard some other crazy stuff to,but WAY to much to type and those specific two were the ones that really threw me off. Cause I'm actually thinking about joining. Is this stuff true? Do they really throw you around, hit you, punch you, smack you around, hit you with weapons, etc? IDK The first guy that told me that I was like "yeah right" but when my other friend (these 2 guys don't know each other) told me something vary similar I got a little worried. I mean I want to join the military, I really do and I'm still kind of interested in the Marines, but being tossed of fYour bunk and hit in the face with your weapon? I mean call me a b*tch all you want,I would hate to have that happen to me. Or is this all B.S? Please explain.

im no expert in this area but i do know that this is abusive behavior. You should definatly call someone or go to someone you trust for help. If i was in your position I would probably either go talk to my school guidance councellor or call the kids help line. Personally I'd say just leave it. Just because she is attractive in your eyes doesn't mean you have to keep trying to ask her out. In my opinion, her answer has been pretty clear the whole time. How can I combine fashion and fitness together into one business?

I'm about to start my business in fashion retail selling Stella and Dot Jewelry and also bohemian and hippie style clothing (think Free People, Soul Flower, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters to get an idea of the style of clothing). In my opinion i like the old music because it's more touching, has a meaning to it, real instruments, real talent, sends out a meaningful message and there was no auto tune or anything that would make your voice better so you would actually have to sing with your voice and the help with no technology to make your voice better so basically you would have to have talent. But there no such thing as good music vs bad music. We choose what to like and have different opinions so there is no such thing as good and bad music.

ok 3 days ago 2 guys were dissin my mom ye if they were my friends i would just laugh but i sayd shut the fu*k up and then other guy pushes me so i push back and the other guy is about to fight me so i punch him in the nose as hard as i can and then the other guy is gonna punch me so i bend'd down and while getting up i punch him as hard as i can in his rips the kick him in the stumac and use my foot on his stumac to jump and super man punch the other guy in the eye ( youtube/google superman punch) so now he and 3 other guys are gonna whoop my a$$ and i dont want to get my friends in trouble so should i just fight them back as much as i can or should i just take the beating? last night around 1 am I went downtown in my city in NC, 22 black male I have an 03 Cadillac DTS heavily customized, I was leaving a party n wanted to see who was downtown, as I go downtown a bike cop comes beside me and says something I couldnt tell what he said so I slowed down and he told me to "put the f****** car in park" so I do so and he keeps yelling at me so I tell him to "calm the f*** down," as soon as I say that he says " get the f*** out of the car your going to jail" pulls open my door pulls me out of car throws cuffs on me and they start going thru my car in the middle of down town street toe my car and put me in jail, rights never read never told what charged for or anything until I got to station, where they said I was " resisting arrest, disorderly conduct , disturbing the peace, and intoxicated" when I asked him how was I intoxicated he said you looked intoxicated.. they found a small bottle from party closed in my center console when they searched and tossed around my car.. Honestly only charge I would of understood was open container but they never tested me for alcohol so how am I intoxicated? I also NEVER got an official ticket from them even when my bond was paid and I got home at 7 am.. I mean I know I shouldn't curse at a cop but I did out of I guess confusion and the way he approached me like I was a drug dealer off gate, is there anything in this case which I could fight? the bonds lady told me I cant be charged for intoxication without being tested
